Thank you Lord for the many blessings that you shower our ministry with. You never cease to amaze us. Thank you sponsors for making 2011 a great year at CFI. Even though our country continues to be in a recession and the economy seems like it is getting worse, your generosity continues to persevere.

It was a great time that we had being with our boys over Thanksgiving. But, I knew Christmas was going to be much better. The children had off from school for a few days, so they were able to play games and start to get into the Christmas spirit. The newer boys and even some of the younger boys were learning the story of Mary and Joseph, and the gift that the whole world was given. I thank God that it was His plan for a redeeming Savior. All the children enjoyed the Christmas programs, including the singing and dancing. The children were able to open their gifts and letters from their sponsors. They were so happy to see that someone cares for them half way around the world. We also got to see the children that left last year and went on for further education at Prakash Institute. It was so good to have them back at Children's Fellowship of India, even if it was for only a few days.

This past year brought many wonderful things. Seventeen boys and three staff members followed Christ's example and continued in their walk with a baptism. I was so happy to be at the campus when on August 14th I got to witness nine of the children being baptized.

The boys are really trying their hardest to grasp the English language. They are doing well in their English classes and they are trying to use english as much as they can around campus, especially when we have visitors. As you know from talking to me, with their accents, it may be hard to understand them sometimes.

Lastly, I wanted to inform everyone that Ashok and Theodora Dhakade will be making a trip to America. They will be staying with me from March 20th until April 15th. We will be traveling to many homes and churches while they are here. Hopefully we will be able to see many, many sponsors.

My sincere thanks for your part in the CFI family. I know the Lord will bring happiness to your heart because you have brought joy to the hearts of His special children in India. Please continue to pray for the children and especially the new child we received. We need prayers for the staff and leadership as well. May the Lord bless you!
